CWJ - INTERIOR DESIGN

I am an interior designer and researcher dedicated to bridging the gap between environmental psychology, evidence-based design, and functional interior architecture. Currently pursuing my Master of Fine Arts in Interior Design at the Savannah College of Art and Design (SCAD), where I also earned my B.F.A., my work centers on how spatial composition directly shapes human well-being, cognitive comfort, and behavioral outcomes—especially within healthcare, wellness, and institutional settings.

Beyond my studio and research practice, I serve as the Vice President of the ASID SCAD Atlanta Collective and as a Council for Interior Design Accreditation (CIDA) Assistant. Through these leadership roles, I actively foster student engagement, coordinate professional initiatives, and contribute to institutional design standards. In addition, my background in classical musical performance informs my spatial practice, giving me an acute sensitivity to acoustics, rhythm, and sensory modulation across built environments.
